Eligibility

Any individual or entity that has successfully completed a payment through the Chapel & York web shop may request a refund for payments made in error.

Time frame

Request for refunds must be submitted within 30 days of the date the shop payment was made. 

Process 

Refunds must be requested in writing and state the reasons for the request (i.e. duplicate payment, technical error in processing, etc). 

Process for repayment

Refunds will be actioned by Chapel & York within 10 working days of approval of the written request for a refund.  The refund will be actioned via the same method used for the original payment and will be less any processing or bank fees incurred for receiving and/or returning the funds. Please note, some platforms i.e. PayPal/Stripe can take 10/14 working days for the refunds to be processed and returned to your account.  This timeframe is outside of our control. 

Exceptions

Should an application to any Chapel & York Foundation be refused, a refund for the annual fee will automatically be issued by Chapel & York. The 250 GBP processing fee is non-refundable should the payee choose not to proceed post payment, or if the application is refused.
